#15) Why Alcohol Sucks if you're trying to lose weight!
If you are able to say no to alcohol, then that is best. Alcoholic
beverage beverages are not exactly healthy, although a glassful of red
wine does deliver heart benefits, virtually all are barely fattening.
Beer is particularly fattening. Cocktails are fattening depending on
what they're made of. For example, whiskey and Coke. The
whiskey may not be fattening, but the Coke by all odds is. Plus, after
a couple of drinks many people get the munchies and as you're
experiencing a bit drunk and hungry you will not be capable of making
rational decisions concerning your diet and it's commonly late at
night, barely before you pass out from a night of boozing, that you
overeat. The overall combination is just not a effective one.
TIP
#16) Go Dry!
If its absolutely essential for you to have alcohol (i.e. if you're a
loyal addict!), try drinking dry wine. Dry wine is much better than
your sweet wines, because sweet wines have more sugar! Dry wines do
have sugar, but almost all of it has been fermented away into alcohol.
Bottom Line: From the weight loss perspective - Dry is Better.
